The first-ever giant electronic display board, carrying real-time stock market information and positive news around the country, was formally unveiled Wednesday by a group led by the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).
Mounted on the façade of the Insular Life Building at the corner of Ayala Avenue and Paseo de Roxas in Makati City, the P45-million project measures 30 meters in length and 1.5 meters in height.
“Apart from having our own version of New York City’s Times Square, the electronic display system will help bring the stock market closer to commuters and ordinary people so that they can continue to monitor the stock market even when they are outdoors,” said PSE president Francis Lim.
